It is probably just a habit.

There are a few occasions when some people say them and really are calling out to God when they say them. For example, "God only knows....." And they really mean that. They are not just saying an empty phrase but are actually pointing out that they believe that only God knows that particular thing.
I can't think of any good reason that one would say that last one though about hating a style of clothing. That would just be habit, and most Theists would say a bad habit.

Those are all forms of blasphemy. I cringe when I hear that kind of thing. If I say anything, I'm told to "lighten up". The thing is, sin is sin, no matter how you try to console yourself with statements like "it's just an expression of speech." Face it, people. God has made it clear that to use His name casually is blasphemy.
