How do you know when you love someone? I really like this guy and he really likes me and we are not allowed to date right now, because of my parents. They do not think I am ready. But he is really sweet, and he always talks about what he wants to say to me but can't because it would screw things up with us and possibly a future with me and him. He is all I can think about. I really need help with this one.

When you love someone........well, you don't care what they look like. You would die for them if the situation occured. If you fight you get over it within a half hour. The list of memories you have with him could last a lifetime. You would never cheat or leave him. You wouldn't hurt/disrespect them. You give him advice. You know his weak spots. All his favorites you can roll right off your tongue. You feel passion that could never go away, even if he moved and you never see him again.
and the most important - you are friends. You can laugh, tell secrets, say what problems you are having, tell jokes! fool around and act like anything you want together wherever you want, because nothing matters except that you know nothing will change between you.
Love is a hard thing to REALLY feel if you aren't even dating. But I wish you luck with him, he sounds like he's really worth it.

If your parents have restricted your dating, you're probably just a little young to experience what you think is "the rest of your life" kind of love. Sounds like you have a huge crush on this young man. Don't lose sleep over your possible future. Growing up and finding love in the process is one of the better parts about experiences. Just try to enjoy the possibilities.

Well this depends alot on how old u r....how u know ur in love...well wen u wit dat person he can always make u feel better he understands u he wants to protect u and take care of u and never asks for anything bak....b careful of this bcause some guys are really gud at talking bt wen u get 2 kno them there is only da physical relation ship they want....and if he loves u he wil wait till u r aloud 2 date accordingly to ur parents.
Also try talk wit ur parents and convince them but this depends on how old u r bt ask them if u can go out in groups of ur fwends and da boy u like cause that is safe mayyb dey will giv u a chance if they trust u enought

Mmmmm......How old are you? Well, it really doesn't matter, people can fall in love when they are 12 or 13. But if you really feel that you love him, you would be willing to do anything for him, even though I would reccommend that if you really love him, that you should know that he does too and that he's not screwing with you because it would cause you problems.If he really loves you, he will wait, and he would respect your parent's wishes. He won't leave you for someone else. If you love him, you would do the same if the roles were reversed.

First, how old are you and how old is he? As long as you are under-aged and in your relationship it is not involved sex, I recommend you to follow your heart, and to continue to see that boy. Remember that you have to choose very wisely when to start your sexual life, because once you start it you'll get bored very quickly. I think that you just like him very much for the moment, you are fallen with him, I can easily say this from your words, but the real love comes in time, when you deal together difficulties. In teen-age period we talk mostly about crush not love. It is up to you to decide when the crush will became love.

I don't underestimate the power of love, but the fact that your parents still have control over your dating life means that you are still too young to talk about true love. I am not saying however, that it is impossible, just unlikely. True love is wanting for someone to be happy, even if that means at risk of yourself. Even if that means they are not with you and with someone else, can you imagine it?

depends how old are u???? sometimes on here i see ppl think they are in love and there only 13! love doesnt come when your really young just wait a while i always try to tell teens spend time with your friends enjoy being young! and dont get all tied up in boys/girls....its not worth all the drama

There are levels of love. Sounds like you think you love him; in that case you do. I suppose when it comes down to it , Love is a label you put on a feeling. You just have to work out whether you love him as a friend or sexually.

Ah, young love. Enjoy it the moment but don't let it consume your life. As you grow and change you will fall in and out of love many times. Love the moment but realize that at your age, don't get to serious.
