...have found yourself slightly helpless than you were when you was single? I mean...have you found yourself depending on your significant other a little bit more than usual? Why is that?

When you have someone you know you do not have to be strong the entire time, so something that you would deal with yourself is single. You want a little sympathy and help if you are in a relationship. lt's OK. And probably healthier.

I don't depend on my significant other for anything. I am completely independent as I was before I met him. If anything it is slightly the opposite. I love my man, but I refuse to get myself in a situation where I cannot get myself out of, especially in regards to a relationship with another man. If anything I will end the friendship before it even go to that level. If my man is going to be independent then so am I. I don't want to be in a relationship where I cannot take care of myself. That's asking for too much from me. If he's going to be indepedent and come and go as he pleases, then so am I.

No, actually I still do alot of things for myself. My wife and I have been married for about a year and a half, but I still have a bachelor's mentality. I still cook for myself, wash my own clothes, iron my own clothes, and clean up probably more than she does. I just can't become dependent on her doing those things for me. Now when she wants to, I just let her.
