one of my friends brothers is in the navy and she mentioned somthing about deploment . and i was wondering what does this mean

Deployment means the person is being shipped out from his home port to go on an overseas assignment.

deployment means you go overseas. for the navy the are out to see for 6 months either on a pacific cruise or a med tour. mediterranian tour. the navy also has a lot of little workup deplloyments where they test the ship
