I had a recipe for chocolate spiders made with chocolate wafers and corn syrupfrom one of the womens magazines, I think it was. Anyways, I lost it and I desperately need it for this evening. Does anyone have it out there? Thanks!

The recipe is non cook, has only 4-5 ingredients , no peanut butter or marshmallows and uses licorice for the legs. It was the best I ever tried..and I lost it! :(

Spider Bites
These itsy-bitsy chocolate spiders will disappear by the handful.
Ingredients:
1 pkg. (8 oz.) sliced almonds
1/4 cup sugar
1 pkg. (9 oz.) chocolate wafer cookies
1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1/2 cup corn syrup
1/4 cup chocolate milk
Black crystal sugar
Black licorice laces
Green and orange tubed decorating icing
Directions:
Combine almonds and sugar in a food processor and pulse until coarsely ground. Using your hands, crumble wafer cookies into almond mixture. Add cocoa powder, and pulse to grind into crumbs. Transfer to a large bowl.
Stick legs into bodies, and attach heads with licorice pieces. Pipe eyes and mouths using tubed icing. Makes about 24 spiders.
Stir in corn syrup and chocolate milk. Let dough rest for 30 minutes. Make 24 balls, about 1 1/4 inch in diameter, for spider bodies, rolling in crystal sugar as you go. Make 24 balls, about 1 inch in diameter, for spider heads, also rolling in sugar. For each spider, cut eight 3-inch pieces of licorice lace for legs and a 1-inch piece to attach head to body.

Spine-Chilling Sweets
(Page 3 of 3) Ice cream black widows
Yield: 8 spiders
20-oz bag frozen strawberries, thawed
½ cup confectioners' sugar
1 tsp fresh lemon juice
8 chocolate wafer cookies
1 qt vanilla ice cream
About 22 chocolate licorice shoelaces
1 bottle "hard shell" chocolate sauce
16 white-chocolate chips
1. Puree strawberries, sugar, and lemon juice: Blend on medium speed until smooth. Refrigerate until serving time.
2. To make "bodies," place cookies on a waxed-paper-lined baking sheet. Put a small scoop of ice cream on top of each cookie and freeze until hard, about 30 minutes.
3. Remove bodies from freezer and poke 3-inch pieces of licorice into sides for legs. If ice cream is very hard, poke holes with a toothpick first. Freeze for a few minutes to harden.
4. Cover bodies with thick layer of chocolate sauce. Before sauce hardens, press 2 chocolate chips onto front of each one for eyes. Freeze again until ready to serve.
5. Pour strawberry puree onto plate; put spider in center.

Ingredients:
2 packages Unsweetened Chocolate Squares (1-oz each)
1 Egg
1 1/4 cup All Purpose Flour
1 cup White Sugar
1/4 cup Butter or Margarine
1 1/2 teaspoon Baking Powder
1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
1/4 teaspoon Salt
40 Red Baking Candies
Directions:
Preheat the oven to 375 F. Lightly grease a baking sheet.
In a small saucepan, melt the chocolate over low heat, removing after the chocolate is melted.
In a small bowl, combine the flour, baking powder and salt.
In a medium bowl, beat the butter on low speed until smooth. Add in the sugar and beat until creamy. Stir in the egg, vanilla and chocolate. Add in the flour mixture and mix well, forming a stiff dough.
To make a spider, shape a 2 inch flat oval for the body. Make the head by flattening a circle about 1/2 inch wide.
The legs are made by shaping the dough into pieces about 2 inches long and less than 1/4 inch wide. Attach the head and the legs to the body. Put two red candies into the head for eyes. Bake for 5 to 8 minutes.
Let the spiders cool on the baking sheet to avoid breakage
