Apricot pits (the interior of the seed, not the shell itself). This is where Laetrile is derived.

In alternative cancer practices, they are used to selectively poison cancer cells while leaving the healthy cells alone. However, they contain an organic form of cyanide that can be harmful if eaten in massive quantites.

Eating a few apricot kernels here and there isn't going to hurt anything, and may actually help prevent cancer from occuring in the first place. But... if you're actually attempting to reverse cancer through Vitamin B17, it is best to do so under the instruction of a naturopath, as overdose is possible and you could potentially do more harm than good.

Best of luck.

Vitamin "B17" comes from apricot pits. Calling it vitamin B17 was an outgrowth from efforts to outlaw the quack medication Laetrile.

The source link below contains a history of the drug Laetrile.

Update. I just followed Tradegy's link from the posting above. It has all the hallmarks of a quack medication. "No one wants you to know the truth", "Read the Biblical references", etc.

If you or someone you know need a cancer cure, I wish you the best.
