Woke up yesterday with my face a bit swollen - it progressively got very itchy. I woke up this morning looking like the elephant man - very swollen around my eyes & bridge of nose. My face, including my forehead & behind my ears is very itchy. I did not eat anything new or put any new products on my face in the last week or so. Took a Zyrtec last night, with no improvement. Any ideas?

Hello,

Don't worry........ it could be a reaction to weather changes...

My friend few weeks ago had the same problem...........so, her doctor diagnosed her as skin sensitivity to sun.........

You might have the same thing............ But, its better to consult a doctor too!

Put ice packs (that will decrease the pain, swelling, redness, & tenderness) for 10 -15 mins.

Put yagourt (will make you feel cool automatically!)

These were nautral techniques so, won't coz any side effects...

Hope u will get well soon....

And my answer was helpful....

It sure sounds like an allergy to me. Go to the Doctor and he will be able to tell and give you an ointment or pills that will help. You will probably have to have some allergy tests to find out what you are allergic to.

Call your doctor. It sounds like an allergic reaction because a bug bite should not be that bad. Good luck.
