Driving is a privilege granted by the state. This privilege can be restricted or rescinded at the state's whim.

The states do trade info on restricted/revoked licenses.

most states require that you provide driving record and license information from a prior state that you have lived in.

Yes, but you will not be able to drive a company vehichle regardless. The insurance company won't allow it.
