Deep reds, blues and purples...gold is a great accent color. Shades of orange and cream are great also. You could also use leaves in your bouquets, instead of a lot of greenery, for the season.

think of nature to conjure up a color palette. Pick up a fallen leaf. You might see a combination of burnt orange, buttery gold and yellow-green. The next leaf may be a mix of dark brown and fiery red. As a rule, colors that are found combined in nature will work combined for your fall wedding color scheme.
Your wedding invitations should match your chosen colors. Consider using graphic elements such as leaves and acorns

My daughter's getting married soon (March) and still hasn't decided on a color....but a very popular color now is the Deep Browns. However, the Dark Blue/off-white & Silver sounds like a pretty combination too. I truly think any of the fall colors (darker) would be totally great...just stay away from pastels. Congrats!

Take a hint from leaves that turn in the fall, chose the one you love best....such as chocolate or rust, or deep red, then if you want more colors, put them into your bouquets, you could have a variety of fall colors in the flowers even leaves, to compliment the dresses. We had gold, chocolate brown, champagne and ivory at a banquet we went to. The combination was different and beautiful. Easy to find these colores in dresses and decorations too at this time of the year.

Just got married at the beginning of October, and we used hunter green and ivory.

Being such a neutral color, it allowed us to add coordinating and accenting colors instead of making it part of "our colors." Plus we made our own programs, so having ivory as a popular paper color helped as welll.

Also, look at your bridesmaids--what colors can they pull off? If you have really pale bridesmaids, it's not fair to put them in sage or yellow.

I was married in October, 1998 long long ago lol - I had autumn colored roses (matched the leaves on the trees) The bridesmaid dresses were creamy soft yellow with a black velvet band around the bossum and a scarf to match they were gorgeous. The groomsmen wore black with the creamy soft yellow ties n cumberbuns (spelling lol) It was a great day everyone looked beautiful.

I was married in November and my main color was a dark chocolate brown with accents of gold and some orange. It was so pretty and everything blended together nicely.
