well duh, i know they use softer bristles on the softer one. i mean what do they do differant from each other, what are each of their advantages.

The hard bristled is good for straightening thick curly hair and the soft one is to add volume in already staight hair...

The hair from male pigs (boars) makes the boar brushes. The softer the bristles the softer hairs from the pig. The harder bristles are from the stiffer hairs from the male pig (boars)

They're both pig hair. One is rough and the other is gentle. The hairs are from different parts of the wild pig's body.
