Well, seems you answered your own Q, luv. Anything we feel incomplete without can be considered a problem, at least non-human based.

If you can't get through the day without drinking alcohol, you have a problem.
Have you actually tried hard to not have a drink for several days? Did you succeed?
Do you hide your drinking from others?
Do you lie about your drinking to others?
Do you lie about your drinking to yourself?
Does your life or your schedule revolve around when or where or how you'll get a drink?
Do you tell yourself, "Just this one, and then I'll be fine". Does that one drink turn into more? How often?
Answer these questions truthfully. If you find yourself thinking, "No, of course not", but that little voice in your head says, "Oh, yest it does", listen to that voice. Then proceed accordingly.

Ha! For me to drink, is to die. At least you admit you DO have an alcohol problem. That's the first step. You don't crave it-----YET.

well, i drink rum and lots of it, i dont like to admit to others, but i know that i am an alcoholic, i dont crave it either, but i want a drink when i am not at work, sounds to me that you may also be an alcoholic. there are two kinds, functional, that go to work and support there habit, and nonfunctional, that cant work and need help supporting there habit.

not necessarily a problem...if you can function without it i dont believe you have a problem.....if it is a habit it can be broken....i cant believe you think beer tastes good...yuk...although this is what i drink too i really dont care for the taste of it...but its cheaper than liquor and i dont have to worry about being drunk off two or three beers

I guess that if you are only craving beer then i don't think that is too bad but i think that if you were craving like vodka or whiskey everyday then you would be.

here is a drinking toast for you . I have many good reasons for drinking, and one has just entered my head. If a man can't drink while he's living, how the hell can he drink when he's dead?
