Probably what you need is a good work-out three times a week. There's this book called “Hit the spot (How to target, tone, and slim your problems areas)” by Denise Austin. You probably can find it in most bookstores. It is a great book, and very detailed. It's like all the exercises suggested turn fat to muscle. To tell you the truth I don't really believe in diets and diet pills. What you should do is work-out at least 3 times a week, and cut back on junk foods, and eat healthy. Hope this helps...and good luck.

You might think about trying this book called "The Movie Star Diet" by Steve Simmons. It helped me lose thirty pounds in 2 1/2 months when I didn't think anything would work. My goal to begin with was only 20 lbs! It has a really easy plan to follow and an excellent workout as well.

I work 48+ hour a week and the thing that has worked best for me is just getting up early and walking a mile or two each day. I've reached the point where I can jog a good portion of it in just a few months. :) I'm so proud! Also . . . water is your best friend at ZERO calories it can actually burn calories when your body warms the chilled water to body temp and water can help eliminate dehydration masquerading as hunger.

Cutting out snack foods is good, but without the matching nutrition, you will still have problems. CUT BACK not OUT. Cut back on carbs and fats.
In additon, I've lost a lot of weight by walking. I walk to the bus every morning - a full mile. I"ve lost a lot of weight AND gained definition in my legs and lost a butt and a half! I walk briskly, and usually work up a bit of a sweat. (I take an extra shirt as well as deoderant inmy bag). CONSTANT movement, CONSTANT vigil on your eating is the only way. You didn't get this way overnight and an overnight is not going to make it go away.

Take the steps instead of the elevator in the early a.m. Seems if you do exercise in the morning it helps more (don't know exactly why). If it's too many floors, take the elevator 1/2 way up & walk the rest. Slimfast never worked for me either.
Green tea also helps (for some reason). If you can tolerate it, take chromium pocolonate (spelling??). You get it in the vitamin isle--most people can take it but for some reason it gives me a little upset stomach.
Of course, water, water & more water.

to start off I'm kind of anti curves simply because its the same thing over and over and you cant progress in any way...yeah I know they adverrtise it as not being judgemental and whatnot but how do you know if you're doing better if you always do the same thing
I sit at a desk most of the week also and try and get into the gym for a cardio workout before work as it will continue to burn calories after you're done and you'll feel alot better once you get used to gettin up early
sorry bout the curves rant but it had to be said

instead of curves join a gym that has pilates classes!
It really does work and you notice results almost immediately.
you would have to go at least three times a a week for results.
I hate exercise but i love Pilates!
Do a google on pilates to get the general idea of what they are and how well it would work for you.

I think it is all in soft drinks. Change from normal coke to diet coke, not just the occasional glass but stop drinking non-diet drinks altogether.
