You know these things by gauging the mood of the date. For instance did he have a good time during the date and how much interest did he place on you the whole evening. Touch is important but some people take it the wrong way and that a hand shake is not touch, it is curtious. A guy has to reach a certain comfort level with a woman, and when he feels he's reached it then it will be easier for him to be himself around you then you know the mood is right. What I would like to know is if you have doubts about him calling you back and why do you feel this way.

Simple case of the three day rule... If he doesn't call after three days then i'm sorry but he's not going to. But if he calls before three days he's very eager and damn it girl you're on to a real good thing. Actually on the third day means that he's playing it cool and might take a while to crack his cool exterior but will definitely be worth it!

Give it a few days and then if you've got his number and still haven't heard give him a call.
I hate it when guys say that, I always panic and think that it's a brush off and they only haven't rung on the odd occasion.
Likelihood is, if you had a good date and enjoyed eachothers company, you'll be hearing from him soon :-)

Depends on what happened during the date. Your not giving much to go on. If he says he's gonna ring you then just hope he does but expect him not to call. thats all you can do.
