How would you react if someone farted in your presence? Should you be embarassed? Should you scold the person? Apologise for them? igore them? and what happens if you fart in their presence? what is the most appropiate way to say excuse me? If it smells really bad, and has no sound, should you do anything at all?

I usually laugh if someone lets it rip by accident. What else is there to do? LOL! We all pass gas / fart, whatever. I just assume the person feels uncomfortable, and would rather just make light of it. Even Marilyn Monroe farted. No reason to be embaressed or make someone else feel embaressed!

Most people laugh and ignore it. If you feel uncomfortable, tell them "the bathroom's that way.". If you do it, say excuse me and prove that you know the way to the bathroom. If someone does a fart and there's no sound and it smells, hope they at least say excuse me.

I wouldn't make any sort of comment or reaction and If I did it i would just say excuse me. It is a natural body movement that we have no control over it is nothing to be embarassed about we all do it.

First there is more room out than in. Passing gas is something that we ALL have to do, so why be embarassed. Just say excuse me and keep moving.

Ignore them, unless you are male then you can roll around the floor in laughter with them. As breaking wind is one of the bestest things in the world ever.......
