does he speak in high falsetto?
outwardly, i'm not sure if there's a way to be able to tell if a guy has had a vascetomy. i suppose that if you're really that interested, you could "pleasure" him orally and then keep the semen for testing. likewise, after sex, you could try to collect what he's left behind.
but frankly, if you've gotten to that point, i'd have to say that getting pregnant is probably the least of your worries. trust in this relationship is at a point that i would start to wonder how long it will actually last, and whether or not "fiance" should really turn into "husband".
before trying to bring in an innocent child to the world, who is totally dependent upon his/her parents for support and success in life, maybe you should look to getting your own life in order first.
secondly, in fertility it's not always the fault of the man. i believe that it takes 2 to tango

First of all, if a vasectomy left a scar it was done in the kitchen by a next door neighbor and not a Urologist. You can have a sperm count done, which would disclose things other than (and including) a vasectomy). If the sperm count is low it could be from other things besides a vasectomy. Other than that, the texture or look of the ejaculate is different after a vasectomy. Anyway you slice it, you're going to have to get him to a Urologist for a count and then take it from there.

It's kinda sneaky asking strangers on Yahoo Answers isn't it!? If you and your fiance are trying to have a child together, don't you think a higher degree of trust between the two of you is in order first, or maybe even marriage before having a child!?
Your relationship sounds like good fodder for Jerry Springer, Maury, or Judge Brown.

If his voice sounds like Mickey Mouse. Only kidding. Look up vasectomies on a google search and you will see where the scar is supposed to be and see if it is. Have him go to a doctor for a sperm count. If he doesn't agree to your requests of which he has every right to refuse you are somewhat stuck on his word. You can't force him to submit to a test but you may be able to force him by legal action. I am not sure about this but ask a lawyer.

You just have to believe him....you know it's NOT always the mans fault. could be something with you. but if he has had one, he should tell you before you marry......... not telling you is grounds for annulment in ANY marriage. If one partner cant conceive and doesn't tell the other, it's starting a marriage with a lie, and the marriage can be dissolved.

you will rarely see the scars. low spearm count can be from stress, wearing tight briefs instead of boxes as if it was tested low, the doc would have him wear those. you say you know he's not sterile. you don't as he could be. its something you guys need to discuss. if he isn't willing and you know he lies, then ask yourself since you haven't gotten married yet, do you want to be now and have a child with someone who you can't totally trust.

There should be 2 scars. They may not be very visible if he had it done a long time ago. The scars should be very small and round. One on each scrotum.

I think only his medical records would show that. Why are you with someone you can't trust? Don't you deserve better?

you can't.
marriage comes before babys, so why are you trying to conceive already? not a lot of trust in your relationship, this is a very important factor.
RESEARCH THE MEANING OF MARRIAGE AND COMMITMENT.
go see a dr. if you are not sure. you sound so immature.
