I will teach my kids about evolution and what it is, not a fact but a theory. I will use evolution and compare it to the bible and give them the tools to choose for themselves what they wish to believe.

Now, my question to you is are you teaching your kids about Jesus? If not, why not?

I do, and my kids love it. They relate to 'evolution' more than creation, and I tell them that some people think that also. I have learnt much from them concerning the issue. One of my kids even asked who were the first man and woman, without me relly suggesting one. That made me realise that it is quite logical that uninformed people would assume quite easily that there 'must' have been a first man and first woman. Even though they accept easily that we are animals and like monkeys, they still think in terms of there being original male and females. this is revealing I think, and shows how primitive humans would have drawn the same conclusions, without the need of a God.
They love hearing about how BIG everything is, the solar system, the sun, the earth, how many stars there are etc. All the different kinds of animals, people, insects. Volcanoes, storms, floods, tornadoes, and how they have the brains that are more intelligent than all of these things

Evolution is a fact, how evolution works is a theory. Christianity is a THEOlogy, there is no evidence that supports creation.

Absolutely! In fact, if I found out that my child's public school WASN'T teaching evolution in Science, or any other class, I would have a field day fighting the school.

In the mean time, I would teach it at home. It's science, and a necessity for children to grow up with knowledge and an open mind.

What are you talking about??? My kid knows more about that I do! He should be teaching me lol

Seriously, I don't know all the finer details of Evolution, but my 16 yr old son knows a lot about it... it is an interest of his. So long as he's reading books and gaining information (that he can say honestly is the truth), then I encourage it. Even if I don't fully comprehend all the finer points of it myself.

evolution is unproven voodoo science, a mere guess by scientists who can't prove it. If they had proven it, it would not be a Law, not just a Theory.

And any dictionary will tell you that a theory means a guess.

Life can't evolve from non-life, so that means the very first life form couldn't evolve, it had to be created. And that proves a higher power that could create life, and that higher power is God.

Looks like Darwin has made a monkey out of you evolutionists.

Here, have a banana to console you so you discover you have been worng all this time.

I haven't taught my kids about evolution, I leave it up to the school, but, if they come home and ask questions I won't hesitate to answer them if I could.

No, not now, not ever!! If you want to think we came from apes, that is certainly your prerogative. But I choose to tell my children the truth about where we came from. That God who created the world, also created man & woman. And He also created the apes, lions & tigers & bears oh my!!!
