Finding god is a matter of understanding this. Everything everywhere every when is God. Absolutely all of the stuff happening, good, bad, indifferent, death, life, thought, all of it is God. There is absolutely no place, location, event, time anywhere that is not God. NOT God, does not exist. If you can figure this out, then you will realize that when He said man was made in his image, that it includes you. When you can find the part of you inside of you that is filled with love and compassion toward everyone everywhere and every when, then you will really find God. We are all God, not all have claimed their birthright with their beliefs. It is hard to do. You will always head in the direction that you are looking and you will get good at what you practice. If you wish to change your life, you have to change where you look and change what you practice. If you don't start new practice's, you will end up doing the same old thing. If you wish to find God where ever you look then you have to look for good things to happen and practice being good. Good Luck...Joe

God is all around, sunrise, beating heart of a baby in the womb, when you look in the mirror, when the wind blows, rainbows, . God presents himself daily in our lives. With a sincere heart look at his Word, the bible. You will find some understanding there, try reading in the New Testament the book of John.

Different people find God in different places and ways... I have found God in the faces of other people. In nature. In the love of a family. It's all in the looking.

We will see God (find Him) only after we die.. But we can get to know Him and see some of His character and of who He is still here.. In our own life... In the lives of people that know Him.. In the Bible - if we seek Him.. He wants to be known - so we just need to look for Him.. He wont fail us in that, I'm sure.

The good news is: He is looking for you.

If you sincerely want to know Him, I suggest this prayer: "Dear God, I don't know whether you exist. Even if you do, there are so many different things being said about you. I want to know which is telling the truth, please show me so that I may know and follow you."

He will meet you where you are, expect him :)

Jesus, for Jesus said that when you see Him, you see God. Jesus is the only way to the Father, He is the life, He is the way and the truth, for no man comes to the Father but through Him.

Really, in your heart, in the smile of a baby, in the spirit of a loving mother, here, there, near, far, everywhere

Peace

Why would you want to? And what is the point of searching for a fiction? I am like Iblis: I do not bow down. [Qur'an, ch. 7.]
