Given that Alliens are not suppposed to exist on earth- then why does NATO give UFOs and extraterrestrial life a Cosmic Top Secret classification? Strange as they are supposed not to exist!!!

Cosmic Top Secret is the highest security clasification.

Thanks, I'd not heard of cosmic top secret, and just checked it out.
Well if aliens exist, (and it is a mind bogglingly small chance that they don't somewhere in the Universe) then if they were able to visit Earth they would be so superior to us (at travelling at least) that any information/knowledge they had would be so precious that it wouldn't be shared with nobodies like us, and be protected accordingly.

This one your not going to like likely,...

UFO = Unidentifiable Flying Object

The Government some times has experiments that it allows others to call UFOs without correcting them or giving them recognition. These are experiments so they do not have offical names and the Military (or whichever departments in the government they are attached to) do not want any information known by others, includeing that they created them. Haveing information may cause many problems includeing leaks, stories and pre-judgements-- Like how one slects Jury you do not want the Jury members to have infomration on the case yet or they may already have their own conclusions the root of which may be false information. Some times other countries create UFOs and then others countries and your own become curious. Denile is important because of a number of reasons includeing you wouldn't want them to think it is a passenger vassel and then it turn out to be for nuclear boms and allowed into certain air space and you do not want paranoia that something carries arms and is armed that may have some other purpose and does not.

Precautionery top secret classification.
If there are aliens they dont want them to contaminate Earth and they dont want people who object to space research go about spreading tell tales and sabotage science for the sake of a few stiffs. This relpy seems logical and human, all other reasons are not worth exploring for a very respectable organization like NATO after all they are a part of our Government.
