I am not 'bashing' Islam. I am asking a question to muslims. Check my questions, I leave my 'bashing' to christians, because that is what I know about. I have my opinions like anyone else when it comes to muslims and any other religion.

Thats correct, I dont believe in 'God' nor Allah.
Now back to the question, what evidence do Muslims rely on to support the existence of Jesus Christ?

Cant afford it, also have a family to support. Do you have any less costly evidence?

Thats good for you. I would prefer evidence seeing as how human beings are so prone to lying, or just self deception. 'Hostile' historic records would be great thanks.

Actually I am aware that christians lie so often, I thought I might see what evidences the muslims claim to have.

Great I will check it out. As long as the facts are dated to the same period and are clearly not a later invention, I will be impressed.

The Quran is written around 600 ad. I am hardly going to think that is reliable. Give me evidence from around the time of Jesus. Someone in 620 ad could have said Jesus was their fairy God mother, that wouldnt prove Jesus really existed 600 years prior.

it would appear to be obvious to me, but I am not muslim. Judging by some of these answers, muslims would disagree with you and say that their best evidence IS the Quran. Though one person suggested 'history books'. I just wanted to hear the Muslim answer to this question I have asked christians before.

AT 600 years after the supposed life, the Quran is just hearsay. What evidence did Muhammed and the orignal muslims before the book was written have, that Jesus even existed?

You know what?.... evidence of Jesus can be found in the strangest of places, Indian History, a person named Issa come from Palestine aged 14 or 15 and learns the ways of Sadus of the Mountains of India and goes back to his birth country when he is around 30 (the missing years of Jesus in the Bible) and gets him self crucified and comes back to India and lives till he is like a 100 years old, there is a place called the tomb of Jesus in Kashmir
Also one Nicholas Notavich wrote a book called 'the unknown life of Jesus Christ'
You can also type the tomb of Jesus on Google get a lot of new info on the subject

You say that we can't use the Qu'ran as evidence because it was written after Jesus' death, but then how can you believe any history book, because that too was written after his death. The Qur'an would probably be the most accurate source of truth because it's been written 1400 years ago, and nothing has been changed since then. The Qur'an also refers to Jesus as a prophet of God, who brought the Christian message, he was neither the son of God, nor God Himself.
Hope I Helped!
Good Luck with Your Search

Same place as that used by Christians. Why are people here bashing Islam without knowing the first thing about it?
And it seems some Muslims are surprisingly ignorant too!
Edit:
'People' doesn't necessarily mean you, but really since Jesus is a prophet according to Islam and they obviously sprang out of Judaism and Christianity isn't it fairly obvious that their evidence for Jesus is the same as that of the Christians.

Good Q.
You see I haven't seen Mohammad PB UH, but I read Quran and I questioned almost every phrase.
Tell I've seen the word of Quran real in front of my eyes, believe me.
but if you read in Quran about scientific facts, I mean facts not theories, which has been discovered recently wouldn't you believe it is the word of ALLAH?
There are hundred of these facts, mentioned in Quran and still a lot will be discovered.
And ALLAH swear in Quran to show the non belivers these facts to realies that he is the only GOD. Then it is up to you , to accept or reject but you and only you whom going to face the coseqences and not any body else.
So, if this book " Holly Quran" tells me that JESUS PB UH is aprophet then I would believe it beyound doubt.

I am Muslim, and I can honestly say I have no evidence of Jesus Christ. Sometimes I even question the validity of the Quran. But I know Allah will guide me down the right path.

Quran is not the word of prophet or angel.
Regarding the revelations from ONLY ONE GOD, GOD chosen angel Gabriel through prophets (from first prophet Adam to last prophet Mohammad (PBU them all) including Jesus (PBUH) to deliver the simple message to believe in ONLY ONE GOD in order to achieve the purpose of life. But every time the message got corrupted until GOD sent the final prophet Mohammad (PBUH) to make the religion PURE from CORRUPTION. Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) always tell his companions/scholars to write it down as soon as the revelation from GOD comes via angel Gibriel. On top of that many people don't know HOLY QURAN is the only BOOK that has been memorised from begining till end that was the case during the Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) life and after that. Now there are millions of muslim even the four years old memorised the whole QURAN unlike any other book. That's how the Quran is preserved in ORIGINAL form via written record as well as by memorisation.
Infact THE HOLY QURAN is ORIGINAL WORD OF GOD in PURE FORM and the FINAL TESTAMENT for mankind from ONLY ONE GOD who have created everything that exists.

We acknowledged the four books:
1)Zabur or Psalms as you call it.
2)Taurat or Torah as you call it.
3)Injil or Bible as you call it.
4)Quran or Koran as you call it.
Now for the Evidence:
A) In the Qur'an Jesus is a prophet and not a literal Son of God who shares God's divinity.
O People of the Book! Commit no excesses in your religion: Nor say of God aught but the truth. Christ Jesus the son of Mary was (no more than) an apostle of God (4:171)
B) In the Qur'an Jesus did not die on the cross -
"That they said (in boast), "We killed Christ Jesus the son of Mary, the Apostle of God"; - but they killed him not, nor crucified him, but so it was made to appear to them, and those who differ therein are full of doubts, with no (certain) knowledge, but only conjecture to follow, for of a surety they killed him not:-" (4:157)
So it does appear in the Quran that Jesus (pbuh) is a prophet not a God, nor a son of God.

Why ask the muslims that, you might as well ask them if Adam existed as well as Moses, Job, Joseph, etc.
Really you just want to say prove your book speaks the truth
