It all depends on a few things. The amount of fat cells in the body, the amount and potency of the marijuana, and the frequency it was smoked. Someone who smoked every day for some time can expect to become clean in 3-4 weeks. Someone smoking every few days could expect about 2 weeks, and someone smoking once a week could expect less than a week. If the weed was very potent, there wiill be a higher concentration of thc in the fat cells so it will take a bit longer than someone who smoked shwag. Also, the more fat cells you have, the longer it takes thc to leave the body.
Hair tests can detect it for years after, because your hair will contain it in the follicle as it grows out, until you cut above the line where you had stopped smoking (if you know what i mean)
There are home detoxification drinks available. There are also home piss tests that you can take to see if you would pass/fail one.

THC can be detected in your system for up to 6 months, depending on the purity and potency of what you smoked. It all depends on the persons body, but if you drink a lot of water, eat healthy, and exercise, supposedly you can pass a test in just under 2 weeks.

If you are taking a drug test (urinalysis), it takes about one week to leave your system. However, it can be detected by a hair test in which it stays in your system anywhere from 90 days up to a year.
