About 6 months prior to you getting out, you should start searching the web for possibilites. Also, as you are getting ready to start the Clearing Process, you will go to a Class that will help you find something. I believe it is called ACAP. It is easier for them to help you if you are Stateside than if you are Overseas.

Have you been to ACAP yet? I know a few people in the 25 series that have gotten great jobs through ACAP. 25B and 25U both are now work for companies that contract to the government. They are doing the exact same jobs they did as enlisted but are making about 4-5 times the money.

Good luck in the real world.

Try monster.com or careebuilders.com I know when my dad got out of the Military it was hard to find something in his field at first. But just keep trying :)

Try the major telephone companies first, then work your way through the smaller companies.

AT&T would be a good one, as any other communication co.
CIA. (Now you must have a college education.)
The Army used to hire civilians with your qualifications.

Depends on your race, unfortunately. If you're a white male, you're pretty much screwed. Otherwise the government will force someone to hire you.
