2 cups flour
4 teaspoons baking powder
1 tablespoon sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup shortening
1 egg
2/3 cup milk
1 tablespoon honey

In a bowl, combine flour, baking powder, sugar and salt.
Cut in the shortening until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
Combine the egg, milk and honey; stir into the flour mixture just until combined.
Turn onto a floured surface; knead 8-10 times.
Roll out to 1/2-inch thickness. Cut with a floured 2-1/2 inch biscuit cutter (I use a large glass).
Place 1 inch apart on an ungreased baking sheet. Bake @ 425 F for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.
Serve warm.

try the following, more cookie than biscuit

100 g flour, I use wholemeal
100 g oats, the kind used for porridge
50 g fat, I use butter, but margarine if you prefer
50 g brown sugar, or white
1 egg
1 tsp ground ginger
pinch of salt
Mix well together, adding a little water if needed, turn out onto a floured board, roll in balls about the size of a walnut, place on a baking tray, flatten with a wet fork and bake in a hot oven for about 10 to 15 mins.
You can add small bits of crystallised ginger if you like and if you don't like ginger, try adding some dried fruit.

If you want to eat truly healthy, lose body fat consistently, normalize your blood pressure, cholesterol levels, prevent cancer, and even boost your brain health and energy levels, you may have heard all over the news that the Paleo Diet has been found to be one of the best methods of achieving all of these benefits compared to any other popular "fad" diets out there. Go here https://bitly.im/aNCQ5

The truth is that the Paleo Diet will never be considered a fad because it's just simply the way that humans evolved to eat over approximately 2 million years. And eating in a similar fashion to our ancestors has been proven time and time again to offer amazing health benefits, including prevention of most diseases of civilization such as cancer, heart disease, alzheimers, and other chronic conditions that are mostly caused by poor diet and lifestyle. One of the biggest misunderstandings about the Paleo Diet is that it's a meat-eating diet, or a super low-carb diet. This is not true
