What is your favourite biscuit and why? What is its dipping in tea/coffee potential and would you recommend it to others?

My favourite is biting both ends off a twix and sucking my coffee through it like a straw. The shortbread becomes all soggy and the heat from the coffee melts the toffee..yum, yum, yum!

You can't beat a jammy dodger! And I don't dip cos my liquid intake of choice is usually lager which doesn't take kindly to biscuit crumbs contaminating its golden perfection! And technically speaking, a Twix isn't a biscuit, is it?

My favourite biscuit is plain shortbread. It's great for dipping and all of the buttery goodness complements either tea or coffee. It's also suitable for use as a straw.

I've been dieting for months, this is such a cruel question LOL!

Back when I was allowed biscuits though, I would say pink wafers or butter crunch creams. But then I'm not really a dunker, I don't like bits at the bottom of my coffee.

In the words of the oh-so-funny Peter Kay: “Rich Tea are bad for dipping – you got to be like lightning with Rich Tea. HobNobs now that’s a biscuit for dipping. HobNobs are like the Marines – they’re like the bloody SAS of the biscuit world!”

Well we call them cookies, but my favorite is shortbread. Close behind that is chocolate chips fresh out of the oven. Pepperidge Farm Bordeaux dipped in coffee or tea is my favorite store bought cookie.

I abolutely love biscotti. it's one of those biscuits that you have no option but to dunk (otherwise you break your teeth). The best part is it doesn't automatically break & fall in your coffee Leaving you a suprise @ the bottom of your mug!

Shouldn't have looked @ this question because now, I HAVE to have a biscotti!

Oh & refering to an earlier answer, Jaffa Cakes aren't buscuits. They are in fact, cakes. When they "go off" the go hard like a cake. Buscuits go soft when out of date.

Bourbon biscuit (boubou, more affectionately known.) It is forbidden to dip them in tea or coffee in most countries, but to dip them in hot chocolate is a treat indeed.

Anything with chocolate in or on it. Chocolate chip digestives are good, hobnobs are great, but my favourites are Dunkers by M & S. They are specially made to dunk in your tea/coffee and taste just great.

For dunking, you can't beat a ginger biscuit, the harder the better. For eating, my personal favourite is a lemon puff (but I haven't seen any of those on the shelf for a long time... ).
