I have been with my boyfriend 6 months. Before him i loged onto a dating website. I never actually met anyone from there but got chatting to a few people! When we got together i deleted my profile, however he found out and went mad, do you think he had any right to do this? I think whatever my past is shouldnt matter now to him if im not using the site? What do you think?

Tell him that there is nothing wrong with it. The fact that you deleted your profile can prove your being loyal to just one man that's him. If there is something wrong with what you did while you were having a chat with people there, there is no reason why he should get mad... You have the reason to get mad..

There are so many things in my love's past that scare me, hurt me and bring out the heart wrenching vampire in me, but as long as they stay in the past, then they are not on my immediate radar.
Yes, things from the past can shed little lights on parts of people we love that we actually don't like, but hey- nobody's perfect. The question is how did he find out, and how do you deal with it.
It doesn't really matter whether we think it's right for him to go beserk over it. You see, it means he's jealous and that's a good thing. In love, you will eventually learn it's not about who's right or wrong, it's about what you do to make things right so you can continue this beautiful walk together.
Talk to him. Explain that he too has a past, and even if he doesn't think so, there are bound to be things you perceive as his past, which you would not like. If you cannot deal with each other's past openly, how are you planning a future?.

You are absolutely correct. This dating website was part of your past. It was before you met this guy. It was before this guy even came into the storyline. He has NO absolute right to get angry at you for your past. If he doesn't like your past, and can't get over the fact that you USED to use a dating site, that's his problem. And you don't EVEN use it anymore! So, he should be ashamed of himself, yelling at a beutiful young self like you.

some people view dating websites as quite tacky...but I'm sure your boyfriend has done tacky things in the past...remind him that everyone is looking for love and they do what they think is acceptable at the time...and if your with him now...what is the problem...make sure he isn't a control freak...many of those about....lol...

most men would be annoyed, angry or upset, it's understandable, they may think you're still using it, but if you explain to him (without getting into an arguement) that you're not on it anymore, if he loves you enough he will understand and believe you, if not, then i'd either work on building a stronger relationship with him, or move on, if he means too much to you, you need to think, could you have a relationship with someone who doesn't believe you? relationships are built on honesty and trust, if youre honest to him but he doesnt trust you, whats the point?

i agree with u..he shouldnt get mad because of something like that.....and its in the past so that even makes it more dumb. just talk to him and see what hes thinking.

I dont think he has a right to get mad. you dont go getting mad at things from his past right so why should he yours. i would explain why he shouldnt get mad to fim.

tell him to pee off he has nothing to do with your past and thats all it is in the past or you could start winging about his ex girlfriends and when he says they dont matter they were in the past pull the dating thing up and say the same IT DOSN'T MATTER ITS IN THE PAST he will get over it
