Ive heard that this guy (28) I fancy has never had a girlfriend before. We have got together a few times (i havent slept with him, only kissed him) but he hasnt asked me out on a proper date. its all really casual. why wont he ask me out on a date??what should I do?he shows all the signs that he likes me but why is it so casual?we only speak at the weekend to see if we are both around to meet up.

Don't be shy. Ask him for a date. It is 2006, after all. You're allowed. If you really like him, see if you can get things started.

He maybe interested but maybe shy with it, He could be waiting for you to make the first move, talk to him, then if he still won't ask you out on a date then obviously he is wasting your time and leading you on, you don't want to be a part time lover, it will end in tears.

He's probably not sure what you're interested in. Bite the bullet ask him yourself, fancy going for a drink this weekend , and if he says no you know where you stand.
He's probably just nervous around women and I'm sure he'll jump at the chance - good luck! :)

Why don't you ask him out? Then when you're there you can ask him what the relationship means to him. does he want to have more dates like this one or is he happy just to keep going as you are, weekend buddies. at least then you'll know where you stand.

Maybe he's too sky to ask you out, would you ever consider asking him out?? He sounds like a sweet guy but hasnt had much look with the ladies, ask him out if your sure he will say yes, which Im sure he will....Hope it works out for you xx
