If unintentional then why bad karma? No need at all.

Your karma is the =consequence= of your bad action, not the action itself.
You are responses for your +choices+. If you have chosen to place yourself in situtations where negative consequences of actions are unavoidable or unintentional, you are still responsible for choosing to be in that situation. For example, Even if you hurt someone unintentionally after you have been drinking too much, you ARE responsible for your choice to drink too much.
