I know a lot of questions simular to this have been asked but bear with me: I know that height is mainly genetic but how can i maximize my growth potential during the next few years of my life?
What can i do during this stage of puberty that will allow me to reach my optimum height? What foods shall i have or not have? What sport or exercises would help? and any other information would greatly be apreciated. Thankyou. (i'm also a vegetarian)

Balancing your diet and exercise would be the best way. Eat fresh and nutritious food, drink lots of milk, and go swimming. That will do the magic.

Your height is mainly down to your genetics as you have said, eat healthy and nutritional foods (stay away from fats and hi-carbs), you should be okay as you are veggie so you won't be eating a lot of the fast foods available. Calcium in milk and cheese is good for bone development and growth.

Try and stay away from exercise that increases muscle growth like weightlifting. It may hinder bone development in some people. Swimming is the better exercise as it makes you stretch.

Try measuring your height in the morning when you get up then do the same before you go to bed, a lot of people are slightly shorter at the end of the day if they are on their feet a lot, if you are one of these people then get an extra hour in bed. Your body is still maturing when you sleep but it doesn't have that fight against gravity as much.

i cant help you with your height but i can your weight i take it you want to put on weight, the height is not a problem as i have friends the same height as you and their weight vary,s greatly some of them are around 12st and the biggest is 23 st ,you have to first understand body types you will most likely be a ectomorphic body type eg- small bone structure, small hips and knee joints and wrists and chest. If you want to put on size at the gym dont do all this fancy stuff at the gym keep it basic, brief, and very heavy as heavy as you can possibly go,stick to basic size building exercises eg-bench press, squat deadlift, shoulder press and then some heavy arm work to build up your bicep,s and chins for a nice wide back then you have to lift your body weight i,m not too sure about the diet as you are vegetarian but in decent health food shops you can buy a low sugar weight gain formula the you can mix with milk or water they also contain loads of vitamins and minerals you can then take in as many calories as you can drink the average calorie intake for a man is around 2000 calories per day you could quite easily double this and the weight can come as fast as 1lb per day at the start, i take around 4000-5000 per day when traing heavy.I hope this has helped a little but give me a shout if you want to know more and good luck
