If you answers a Yahoo! Question with a great and witty answer. Why does no one give you credit? I mean shouldn't funny count for something? I put forth this to everyone, if you are reading others answers and they make you laugh then when you answer give them props or signs or whatever kids are doing to show appreciation. Plus, there are stupid questions and deserver our ridicule and funny answers.

I totally 110% agree!! you know cus you gotta go out and give it 110% and you wanna play good you hope u play good and you really just gotta go out there and give it 110 % cus you play hard, and hope ur team plays hard and gives it 110%...

This isn't Hollywood Squares. What one person thinks is funny or witty might not appeal to the next person. It doesn't answer the querant's question, either, (which is the real reason he posted the question in the first place) and often makes fun of other people.
I do, however, give thumbs up to people who make me laugh. But even that's just a personal choice, once again.

Maybe looking at it from the 'questioner's" point of view might give you a different perspective. Many people ask serious questions in earnest and look for sincere answers/advice. The people who ask funny questions often rate witty answers, i've got a few.

Yes dear, that's what the ratings are for... you just have to get enough points to be able to rate.. in the meantime, whilst building my points, I found it quite nice to pop a message to people with witty replies. Unfortunately not everyone has checked the "mail me" option on their profile, so its not always possible.

those questions seem dumb but its hard to think when u are in love or something. and most of us is looking for a good anwer that can help. funny can be helpful and some of this ppl can use it but most are looking for a good anwer
