It's lookin good in the group stages anyway(and thats comin from a filthy blue nose). After that, its a lottery, hopefully get a diddy team like arsenal or something and get through to the last eight.

I can see these english people are grossly misinformed. Wasn't too long ago celtic saw away, liverpool and blackburn. And lets face it, they weren't too shabby against man u and at celtic park things will be different.

i am a rangers supporter but first and foremost a scotland fan and i know it is hard to believe but i support all scottish clubs in europe so i am basising my answer with honesty.

i would say the progress that celtic have made so far in the CL has been fantastic but i would say the real test will start now, with two away games and Man U coming to Parkhead. both Benfica and Copenhagen will not want to lose out completely in Europe so will be looking at the UEFA Cup place so these will be very tough games, and i think with the previous history with Gordon and Alex he will not want to make it easy for Celtic regardless if they are already through and with Wayne Rooney scoring again and looking good, but i do hope Celtic get through as this will benefit all of Scotland, if we can get the two Old Firm doing well in Europe and Scotland doing well in there Euro quilifers should push our ranking up further, 25th in the world just now.

Glasgow Celtic will reach the knock-out stage of the 2006-2007 UEFA Champions' League but they will be eliminated after that.

Celtic are my second team after Liverpool.

I personally think that the Hoops might get to the quarter finals, but any further? I doubt it, there just isn't the same quality of player at Park Head since O'Neill left. And I just can't see a victory against some of the better opposition (Chelsea, Arsenal, Man Utd., Liverpool, Bayern Munich, Barcelona etc.)

Come on the Celts!!

Alright mate, I feel that Celtic are definitely gonna make it through the Group Stage then when the knockout format kicks in, it's all about performances on the night. When twenty two players are on the pitch, any result is possible

They should make the last 16 but thereafter it depends on who they draw. If they get one of the bigger European Clubs -Barca,Real,Chelsea,Arsenal etc then that will be the end. Still it is always good for Scottish football that our teams start to compete at a higher level and although I had high hopes for Hearts they let themselves down.

It wouldn't matter if Brechin entered a side in the World Cup as Pict-land and won it - you'd still get Nigels coming here to say Scottish football is rubbish.
I shall go next door and pay my respects.
