I mean when a girl likes a guy, will she really wait for the guy to make the move? As in she won't initiate the conversation online even though she can drop a message?

there probably is a white knight coming to your door right now. to sweep you away. oh, wait, the dragon got him. tough luck.
now what. oh wait, here comes another guy. auggh, the swamp monster got that one. what's a girl to do?
humm, here is a boy you like. maybe he's not a white knight.
maybe he's only a brown one, but he has potential.
why not be coy and subtle
i.m. him and tell him, "Hi. I have a problem. I'm gonna really be hungry and lonely fri night about 7:00pm could you please come over and take me out. "
you know, something light and breezy like that. even the dullest boy wouldn't want some poor girl going hungry or bored on a fri night.
if he doesn't ask you out, I'll bet half the guys reading this do.

if you are plainly lookin for a gal, flirt with a dozen ignore them and carry on with another dozen. nothing turns on a girl more than a guy who ignores her after flirting and who has many women around him. strange, but believe me, that's how they work.
