Yes--as a matter of fact it is. In both the New and Old testaments.

God made an everlasting covenant making the Jews the stewards of HIS land. That seems to be what everyone forgets--the land belongs to God.

Try the book of Revelations as it is centered on the end of days and God bringing back his chosen (jews) from every corner of the world.

God goes on to say that Israel will be a stumbling stone to the nations of the world who rise up agaisnt her because they will fail every time.

Israel is here to stay and since this is about travel--go and see the truth.

You can buy land, and make a country. Zilber is right. If you look through the 1900-1920 Arab newspapers from the region - you will see a lot of angry articles about Arabs selling their land to the Jews.
Fact : Almost 70% of current Israeli land was PURCHASED, get it? PURCHASED. The rest was annexed during wars that Israel DID NOT start.

But to answer you first question - yes, it does say so in both Old, and New Testaments.

New Testament calls Jesus "The King of Israel"

I am assuming that your question was meant for Jews and not Israelis, as you can be an Israeli and not a Jew and visa versa ...

Anyway, Jews do not believe in the New Testament and therefore, the shource must be in the Old Testament.

well, i dont know about the "new testament" cuz i wouldnt touch that book with a ten foot pole (there's no such thing as a new testament...- what, g-d changed his mind all the sudden? bull...), but in the "old testament"- the Bible/Tanach, it specifically says that the ENTIRE Israel was given to Avraham's children- meaning the Jewish/Israeli people- FOREVER!!!!!
"כי את כל הארץ אשר אתה רואה לך אתננה ולזרעך עד עולם" - which translates into "the whole land that you see- i'm giving it to you and your descendants FOREVER!!"
the exact place it's written: Bereshit (=the first book), in the 12th chapter. you cant miss it!!!
so all y'all- just back off, cuz- seeing as i'm Jewish and Israeli- this land is ALL MINE! muwahaha..... *evil laugh*
AM YISRAEL CHAI!!!!!

Christianity is the biggest religion in the world and just look what their leader, the pope, said about the muslims. Isn't it amazing, Israel takes up 1% of the Middle East and has been attacked from all sides countless times by ALL surrounding arab countries and look who has come out victorious! Well, written in the old testament, new testament, or not written in them, Israel has the land of Israel and always will! Amazing how all the surrounding arabs try and defend their palestinian brothers, but none will take them into their own country?? Nice brotherhood you got there. Israel is a holy place and not a place for savages. Israel are the defenders while the arabs are the attackers! You cannot tell me a country as small as Israel would attack if they were surrounded by so many enemies!? Israel belongs to the Israeli and Jewish people and always will be! Find your own land-as if you dont have enough already! Go to saudi arabia, or egypt, jordan, lebanon, syria...i dunno! But ISRAEL IS OURS!!!!

jews are prohibited by the Torah with a very grave prohibition to establish a Jewish independent sovereignty in the Holy Land or anywhere throughout the world.
in this link to a webpage there are 3 links to translated torah that prove this:
http://www.jewsagainstzionism.com/scriptures/index.cfm
i am not an isreali but none of these who answered was willing to tell the truth.
and who can prove that these so called isreali's are the decendants of isreal him self !! or whom we refer too as the children of isreal! no one most jews in the world today if not all of them are converts they have no blood link so no right to claim palastine.
and iv read the original quran in its original langauge it does not say give jews any thing called isreal.

it is not written literally ''4 the Jews only '',it was written for the people that follow Abraham that means the Jews,Christians and Muslims, and 4 the people of David, the Jews believe in David, the Christians believe in David and the Muslims believe in David so this land is FOR ALL not only for the Israelis
because during the time of the old testament no one believed in god but the Jews, there were no Christians and no Muslims,so the words of god apply to all believers

the Arabs (your friends that leave just 5 minus from Jerusalem) sold the land to the Jews for MONEY. now, read the old testament yourself and do not bather other people because you are too lazy.
