I'm sorry to hear that you almost died and that you are so stressed. Just recently i made myself very sick from stress and the thing i found that helps me best is getting a piece of paper and finding out what is stressing you most. Write down everything you are worried about. Try and figure out whether the problems yhou are worried about a related to any other cause or they are the main problem.. then figure out what to do about it. My main problem was work, i was unhappy, i was sick, i was homesick and not enjoying myself in a new country. I wrote down everything that was worrying me at the time, from family issues to work problems. I worked out the things that i could do something about and also which problem was the main cause of the others. In the end it was my job that was the problem and after leaving that and finding another, i am starting to enjoy life again and am feeling much healthier.

I hope this helps. If your problems and far more serious then perhaps try and anonymous helpline and talk to someone who will be able to help you through.

Best wishes

I had a near death experience early this year with a Polar bear of all things, at the time we were all to busy trying to survive to be stressed but afterwards it hit me and i felt very emotional for quite a while, and still now have flash backs, in hindsight i really should have talked to someone close to me about it but i think it was a macho thing, not wanting to appear weak etc, if you are really stressed about it dont hold it in, it will come back and bite you talk to someone, all the best and good luck

it would depend on how you nearly died, was it you making a suicide attempt, were you in a car accident caused by someone else, have you a medical condition, did someone try to kill you, for the most part talking to someone might help relax you be it your GP, a nurse, CAB, a police officer,a psycologist, victim support or your best friend or partner, a even go to a pub and chat to the bar staff they get allsorts wanting to chat to them

Talk to someone close to you. Take a warm relaxing bath and listen to your favourite music.
