Its a grounbait that is put in a pva mesh stocking about 2 - 3 inches long and attached to the hook, To be honest, its pretty much the same as a pva bag, which are a little cheaper i think. You cant beat a method feeder though, even when fishing for the odd whopper, it takes a good size ball of bait out with your hook and you dont have to keep paying for bags. And you can load it up with liquidized fish and maggots, looks lovely

Stick mix is usually made with funnel web pva off a tube. What you put into it depends on what youre fishing for so would need a bit more info. If you buy Mighty Marine(Dynamite baits) Tinned Groundbait it is pva friendly but anything with water in it is a definate no no. If you had hemp seed youd prepared you can drain it and then throw some into dry groundbait but a better idea is to used the grilled and ground hemp as not only is it a good attractor but it also helps the feed explode out of the pva once in the water.Run spam or luncheon meat through a groundbait riddle and this will make another good addition to a stick mix, also tinned tuna but make sure its in sunflower oil and not brine because brine is salt water and your pva will melt.
