the windows cd to repair ...the version of the windows running on my pc is servise pack 1 but i dont have the cd instead i have the sp2 disk..can i use this cd to fix the problem(copyning the missed file:SYSTEM)?

Try booting your computer with the SP2 CD first and let it diagonise everything on its own..

instead of the computer showing the error message and you inserting the CD, you boot using SP2 and use the recovery console.. that will help i guess..

or install a fresh OS on to the PC by using the upgrade option..

by any means you'll have to boot using the SP2 CD before the warning sign shows up

first why dont you have service pack 2 installed? and second yes it will work if you know how 2 do it and there isnt something elce wrong
