Mayo, raw egg, any kind of oil. Put any of those in dry hair. Massage gently for 5 mins. Put a shower cap on and then either go to sleep or wash out in 1 hour. If you sleep with it in wash out in the morning. For final rinse, rinse with cold water.

u can put i think lemon juice or some oil in your hair in the shower and then put the shower on cold. It will be freezing but A. will wake you up B. cause shiny hair. u dont use the cold water for a long time, just a couple of seconds

I don't use it exclusively,but 3-4 times a year I warm olive oil,slather it on my hair and then cover with plastic wrap and a towel for 30 minutes. It takes a lot of washing out but my hair is stronger and shinier since I started doing it.

my mom once told me something about extra virgin olive oil for hair.. it's suppose to make hair nicer or something.. never tried it though.. but it could work.. just use some on your hair after a shampoo.. :)
but my friend tried using some oil to help her make it silky & shiny but it didnt help..
just use regular shampoo & conditioner :)

You could. But AVEDA uses all natural products from plants. You might want to check that out first. Easier, cheaper and it smells BETTER.
