well to be honest, I can't see how Islam does anybody any good, buddhism, sikhism, and hinduism don't affect mankind, so they cannot do it good...judaism i confess to not knowing much about, but Christians do quite a bit, they have Christian Aid, helpin people all over the place, they have outreach centres where homeless people can go and get a good meal (and I realise that atheists and non religious people do that aswell!!) and a bed for the night, they run mother and toddler groups for kiddies, youth groups for teenagers, and generally are nice to people! Of course they aren't perfect, and yes, some shove religion down your throat, but most don't and I think they do the most for society.

Buddhism. They start no wars don't kill in the name of their god. Do not force feed their beliefs to anyone. Peaceful. The only religion that isn't run by robbing the congregation of money. I have a hard time with the people who believe their is only one true religion. cause if there only is one heaven is a little tiny place. And I know good people in all different kinds of religions. So I believe that good bad right and wrong are big factors. The budah thing balance of stuff, nature thing. And My higher power is not the one the bible was written about. I do not fear my god. I think steven kings ansesters wrote the bible trying to use fear to control people. And they had some pretty good shrooms too. the burning bush, parting of the dead sea, right. he whipped down every 2 minutes for miracles back then what did he do use all of his passes into our world up? My god put my head on too damn straight to blindly follow assholes. If he just wanted scared followers why do we have comon sense? He could have made us all sheeple, (alot of them live in usa_) I believe he put on here in a perfectly working beautiful place to live and we are destroying it. We sure are not very smart are we? I am a good person I help anyone I can when I can. I never try to hurt anyone phyiscally or emotionally I put back at least as much as I take and i am a good person, so why when christens die are they always asking do u think I am going to heaven, I tell them if they are not then there isn't a heaven. Itr seems to calm them. I do not fear my god, as I don't think he made either threats or demands on us as a people. He put us here and gave us enough to make it, we are screwing up and we will be the ones who pay. Or at least our children will. Do any of you actually believe that anyone is out there looking out for us? I mean seriously take a look around you? the 9-11 incident. oaklahoma the sunami the hurricane, fires?????? We are on our own and we better get our **** together before we use our home right up and our children will not have a safe place to live.

Just look at the countries that have a culture that is stooped in each religion. Wherever christianity has gone and took hold, the nation has prospered. Usually the nations that are stooped in the other religions are living in poverty. The same thing is true of philanthropy. In india, a nation that is mostly hindu, 98 % of it's organizations that feed the poor and help people are christian even though christians are just 2% of the population.

I believe the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day-Saints (Mormons) have. They have sent food and supplies to many countries and they help not only the members, but also non-members. They have Church Welfare, which gives people food and helps pay rent and utilities and if they need clothing, they have Deseret Industries, which has second hand clothes and furniture, and they let them get clothes and furniture there. If a person needs a doctor they help cover those costs, too. They sent loads of food and clothing to hurricane victims also over seas to different countries there. They have there own factories for canning food and making breads and etc. There are few things that they don't make themselves, plus they have dairies and farms all over the country where they raise cattle and chickens and hogs for meat, etc.

How can you generalise that which was not ment to b generalised? If you look closely all religeons have the same basic commandment. Therefore the only time religions get out of control is when their leaders deceide and has nothing to do with the members of the religeon itself. There is no straight answer to this question

I do not like to use the word "religion." For that is mans attempt in their best efforts to get right with God. Many different demoninations, or practices, that people follow that makes them feel like they can get in "good standing" with our creator. Thats why there are so many conflicts between these "religions" and people are fighting over it. Thats the result of tainting God's plan. We forget the reason Jesus came and died for us! He came so that we would have the true way back to the Father, and that He would establish the TRUE way of living. Thus, Christianity, which means Christ-like or little-Christ, is NOT a religion but merely the lifestyle of Christ that we are to replicate. Not by our own efforts, but made possible by the Holy Spirit in a relationship with Jesus Christ. Accept His Gift of salvation and experience the life of abundance. May the Lord Bless You Abundantly!!!

Everything is open to corruption and misuse. Alot of people turn to religion when they are vunerable. If believing in anything helps a person thats good, but in reality there is no right or wrong answer to your question, because everyones views on religion are different.

All religions are bad, some are not as bad as others.

If you're putting a gun to my head?: Buddhism, because it is an atheistic religion (has no God)

The worst are invariably the Abrahamaic religions (Judaism, Christianity, Islam) because they are monotheistic.

Monotheism allows people to unify and kill in the name of a single god, instead of being fragmented in their allegiance to multiple deities, in my opinion.

Of the ones on your list I would say that Buddhists have the best philosophy Christians have the strongest charities and Judaism has some of the best entertainers.
