I have flat feet and they are way better than regular feet you can go into the kitchen if it doesn't have carpet and pick up your heel up and down and make farting sounds they are like suction cups!
any ways... lol i heard of a taekwando instructor telling his students with flat feet to "stand in moms high heel shoes" do it for a few hours a day once or twice a day... also stand on the part right after your toes . its a balancing act but its cool and also good for your leg calf muscles

possibly yes - see a good osteopath
i had "flat feet" or "fallen arches", but it was to do with the way i was putting weight on my feet through my legs & hips and a lot to do with what my upper body was doing and the connection through my spine - i.e. posture.
it was also a lot to do with my gait - or way of walking.
i tried "arch supports" within shoes, but they don't cure the underlying symptoms of a bad posture or gait, so eventually they can make you feel worse.
now i know how to walk without supports and without being flat footed, it has changed my life!
hope it does it for you!
p.s. i assume you are like most people and have a curable flat footedness, rather than a congenital condition - an osteopath should be able to tell you this

Surgery...or find a reputable chiropractor who can help "rebuild" the arch. I had one do it for me. He literally placed tape and such on my arch so the bones would be forced into the correct position so the arch would be there again. It took over a year, but we did it without surgery.

Do NOT go see an Osteopath. Geesh! Go talk to a Podiatrist. They specialize in feet. This all they do. Trust me my father is one. They are the most qualified to inform you of all your options.
