right, well the best thing i can recommend is speaking to a financial advisor. i work for one. he is very good. if you email me i can give you his details. he specialises in debt consolidation, and he does deal with unsecured personal loans.

Now to be honest, debt consolidation without using a mortgage is very expensive. as a mortgage is the cheapest form of lending. with rates as low as 4.99% fixed etc...

but for an unsecured loan there is higher risk for the lender, therefore they need to bump up their interest, which depending on the amount you borrow can be a lot. even up to 10% or more.

i dont recommend any of these web sites, such as dial4aloan, and things like. they are usually cowboys, and a lot of them are not regulated by the financial services authority.(FSA).

Usually a bank or building society is the best place to go as a lender. but you can get the best deal based on your circumstances via an IFA.

good luck

Depending on how much money you need, it is hard to get an unsecured loan. If you do, the interest will not be very low. Even if you have perfect credit, if your credit report shows that you are overextended, good luck getting a loan anywhere.
