all the dogs with short faces (pekes, pugs, shitzus, etc) have eyes that will pop out easily, better get him to the vet asap

the answer is that with all bronchycephalic dogs this can happen. Surely you had th good sense tot ake th dog to to the vet and have him/ her repaired. In the future (if it hasn't already) I would keep the dog put up and away from other dogs, as this could not onoly cause your dog to lose it's eyesight, but could poassibly cost him/her his/her life!!!

That could happen to any dog...any animal.
But,it's easier w/the "flat-faced" breeds cuz they don't have much eye-socket.
