I know how do you feel. But all you have to do is simply force yourself and go. Remember: no pain, no gain. Or try different excercise such as martial art, game ... sth that would be fun. I do wu-shu (martial art) that i really like but sometimes it is hard for me to go there anyway. But i dont care about my feelings and i force myself to go. Try to ignore your lack of motivation. Imagine you are a robot and that you have to fullfil the task :-D

Several tips:
1. You might be overtraining. Working out everyday, especially if you're not used to it will drain your energy. Plus, your muscles may not have enough rest making you feel weaker after each session. So, take it easy at first.
2. Set yourself reasonable targets. Start with easy targets at first. Then over time increase your targets to a more challenging level. Personal trainers at your gym can help you with this.
3. Wrong motivation. Why are you working out in the first place? For a healthy lifestyle? Meet up potential partners? Just to spend your free time? So find out what really is your purpose and then you'll find out how to motivate yourself. This relates to your mindset. Get into the right mindset, and you'll find yourself at the gym even when Katrina hits your city.
4. Get a training partner. Its harder to miss your gym session when you've already promised someone to go.

will power is one of the hardest thing to achieve and keep.
The reason you are not going to the gym is because you feel lazy and bored. BORED. You have to get something to entertain you while you exercise (i.e. ipod or mp3). This will make the time fly while you exercise.
You can't make yourself go to the gym so you'll need to find an incentive. Try to keep something valuable that you use regularly (i.e.ipod, tv remote?) at the gym, so you'll have to go there to get it.
Take a naked picture of yourself every month (well, cover the private parts if you want!) then put it next to a model. When you compare the two pics, you'll get immence urge to exercise and have body like that model. That will be the greatest motivatin you'll get. You have to SEE what you wnat to be not just IMAGINE.
Good luck...

For some reason I feel extreme guilt. That's how I get myself to go. I hate going to the gym. I feel better after I go, not physically like everyone else says, but emotionally. It eases the guilt. But, then I eat too much sugar and feel guilty again.

you have to set your goal. and your goal should be to lose weight.
if that goal is really set in your mind, you won't be discouraged or distracted.
you can write down your goal on a piece of paper and then stick it somewhere you will look at often. like the bathroom mirror.
so everytime you look into your bathroom mirror, you would also be reminded that your goal is to lose weight.
set your goal. do everything to achieve that goal.
never give up.
nothing is impossible.
if you want something, go get it.
have a nice day. =)
