reg. dentist visits and when you brush your teeth brush your gums as well. oh and floss.

If you are talking about receeding gums - then the only solution is gum surgery. But if you are talking about periodontal disease - you can strenghten your gums by flossing and brushing along and under your gumline.

Smoking and diabetes are really bad for your gums. If you have noticed your gums 'weakening', visit your local dentist for treatment.
