Everytime I flat-iron my hair, it looks great- until I go to take a bath or shower afterwards.I always wear a shower cap, however, moisture from the hot water I use still gets into my hair, making it turn puffy, which ruins my sleek look. Then, it needs to be flat-ironed all over again, which can be damaging. What kind of shower cap, if any, should I be using, and what else can I do to end this frustration? Thanks for your help.

Use a straightening product. Bumble and bumble Straight is good. Apply before blowdrying, then a little to finish after ironing. Unfortunately, no matter what the moisture will remove the straightness. Embrace the curl! Try going straight one day, curly the next. Shampoo, condition, apply a curl-enhancer (A/G has a great one) then diffuse or let dry naturally.

You will just have to touch up your hair after you bathe. I have the same problem.
