I haven't got much time for people like you. You and others totally ruined my family, my daughter and almost killed her.

While your looking for help. maybe you authentic in your plea. I'll take a shot. My Ex-son-in-law has been a meth-head for fifteen years and yes, unfortunately, he's still alive.

First you must have a reason for quitting, your family, your wife, etc. how real are you? how many times have you been in prison?

Change your lifestyle, get rid of your old friends, don't walk, run away from them, quickly. You can enter a drug program through the courts voluntarily. it takes guts., my daughter did, it took four hard years.
Lots of hard love and understand, Lot's of tears and arguing, finger pointing. Get it out.

You'll need help, Lot's of it. I hope you make it, it won't be easy. Look at it this way, have you ever seen a druggie retire?

its just like quitting anything, you have to want to quit more than u want a hit. maybe you need to distance yourself from the people in your life that seem to bring you down or influence you. if you're that hooked go to group therapy and and hear all the horrible stories of what meth has done to other peoples lives. read up on it on the net and find out what its doing to your brain and what your going to be like when your 40. seen those strange people walking down the street mumbling to themselves? they would have been doing the s h i t ages ago when the gear was cleaner than it is now and they're still f@#$ed up so our generation is gonna be insane at 40. good luck mate:)

I've got a lot of comments for cowboydoc, but I'll try to keep most of them to myself. But the one I have to say is in your first comment you say you don't have time for people like this, well maybe if you did your daughter wouldn't have been a drug addict!
God Z - you need to get into some kind of rehab program, where you have support from people who understand and don't judge you! It can be done and I hope you are strong enough to commit to the battle ahead of you!

# 1 its a very good sign that you are motivated & want to quit.
If you have access to a treatment facility then do it, otherwise (depending on where you live) ask for social support & help, you will find many people willing to help you.
I admire your willingness to quit.
