Well I've been trying to approach this girl but she not a very open person and has alot of one word answers when I ask her about "herself"
Say I ask her if her weekend was okay, and she says yea it was alright, but doesn't really tell me what happened. What should I do? Should I tell her about mine after that. Or try to pry out of her what she did? I'm thinking if she doesn't tell me right off I should let it stay that way and let her know a little more about me by throwing it in on these convos. What do you guys think...

You guys are just starting to get to know each other. Ask her to lunch, and see what she says. She's not going to give you her whole life story just because you say "hi how was your weekend?" Some people are not that open, so you have to play it by ear and be sensitive to her.

If she says, "yeah it was alright", then say something like "that's good, do anything interesting?". She might reply with something like "not really" (if she is shy then she might get really nervous about you talking to her and might just freak out and try to end the conversation as fast as possible). If this happens just say something like "OK, just wondering, anyway I will see you around sometime!" Then just leave and next time you see her just say "hi again, how have you been? and hopefully she might reply with a better answer but if not just keep talking to her each week or whenever (building up her trust) and it should get better! why don't you try asking off the wall questions like "if you could only have one superpower what would it be and why?" that will show her that you are interested in what she has to say and it will also show her that you are unconventional it might inspire a good conversation that leads to other topics, some people are more gaurded than others just give it some time and she will open up when she knows she can trust you

I understand what your going through. One thing I can tell u is DO NOT tell her what you did over the weekend if she didnt ask. If u do she might say something like "Did I ask u what u did?" or "so?" She might not be into you. Do u make her laugh? Does she ever smile when she's around you?

Don't just ask her generic questions. Find something she's interested in or knows a lot about. People like "enlightening" people on their interests to people who seem genuinly interested.

You gotta ask her questions like, "what did u do this weekend ?" or "how do u feel about...?" if you ask her one-word questions, your only going to get back one word answers.

make some notes ahead of time. Think of questions that can't be answered 'yes' or 'no'. "What did you do this weekend?"
"What kind of music do you like?"

you can' t read the bible within one day. ok. so, keep going and be patient with her. she will disclose without you asking her and thats the point where you both feel the sensuous love.
