Well, I don't know.I guess you are free to think anything you like.But if they do have souls then every time you eat a salad or have some nuts you are taking life and forcing that soul to leave it's given body.I guess you will have to just drink water.At least until they discover micro organisms that seem intelligent in every drop of water on Earth.Then it goes to just breathing.But every breath might kill millions of airborne organisms.Oh well, hold your breath and don't move.that way you will be at peace with everything that might have a soul.

Yes . As the Creator of All Things made the SOULS OF ALL THAT WAS AND WILL BE from its own body. and these souls were granted permission tho enter the Physical universe that was made and those that entered into the physical forms became so engrossed with the physical feelings that they forgot that the could leave and from where they came from. All things have soul even if you do not recognize it as such as it is in a different form than yours.
That's why you give thanks before eating. In order for you to live something has to die.But God has given us permissionto do so. as long as we do not over harvest what was made and given.

Aristotle would say yes. He said that there are 3 levels of a soul.

The vegetative (or nutritive) soul belongs to all of the plants.

The emotive soul belongs to the animals.

The rational soul belongs to humans.

Again, this is Aristotle's philosophy, not necessarily mine.

I remember Mythbusters tested that thing that some guy came up with like 50 years ago or something.

they found that in the circumstances aproximately equivalent to the original testing, that there were indeed some peculiar and "spooky" results on the testing.

they found that under properly controlled circumstances, there were no such results.

wow===but where is the link/proof?
it means that a living "being" reacts to repair damage to itself=the same way any other living being does. I don't think that means there is a soul involved.
