NO, Nero is for windows. What do you need to burn onto CDs/DVDs? Music? You can with iTunes. Backup files? You can with Disk Utility. If you don't want to use those built in burners, look here.

For free? well try limewire and download it from there... no i dont know if it works with mac ( i told you that NERO asnwer). If it does u can find it for free at Limewire.
