I do not like to use the word "religion." For that is mans attempt in their best efforts to get right with God. Many different demoninations, or practices, that people follow that makes them feel like they can get in "good standing" with our creator. Thats why there are so many conflicts between these "religions" and people are fighting over it. Thats the result of tainting God's plan. We forget the reason Jesus came and died for us! He came so that we would have the true way back to the Father, and that He would establish the TRUE way of living. Thus, Christianity, which means Christ-like or little-Christ, is NOT a religion but merely the lifestyle of Christ that we are to replicate. Not by our own efforts, but made possible by the Holy Spirit in a relationship with Jesus Christ. Accept His Gift of salvation and experience the life of abundance. May the Lord Bless You Abundantly!!!

You don't have to belong to any group to be Christian. All you have to do is love God so much that you give your life to Him and accept the Son of God, (Jesus) into your life as your saviour. Also read your Bible and follow God's ways. Also get saved and become a born again Christian. Well, this is what I have done to be Christian, but I do belong to a group of Christians and we practice at home.

The Bible is the Word of God and you should study it for yourself.

Many Swedenborgian Christians study at home. They have the Bible (usual versions like the King James) and the theology of Swedenborg to read. Lots of reading.

There is not enough churches that believe that Swedenborg was a true servant of Jesus Christ just yet for all Swedenborgians to go to a church.

I belong to the Kingdom of God,
I am an ambassador for Christ,
I am in the Nation of King Jesus, in the heavens,
nothing here.

No. You have to love jesus. that's it. Recognize he died for you, and recognize all the bad you have done. Jesus died for that bad, he took it upon himself at the cross, so you wouldnt take it with you to your grave. If you have believed in Him, asked Him into your heart, and told Him you are sorry, i am pretty sure you're a christian. I belong to no groups, pay no dues, and Jesus loves me as much as the man in the front row during sunday service. God bless you, And may my prayers encourage you.

Christians have personal relationships with God. We believe that God is over all and He sent His only son to die for our sins.

God gave us organized groups so we can have fellowship with other Christians. A Christian is not a person that just goes to church, or affiliates himself/herself with a certain group, but with God.

There is no requisite to group or church membership, but generally it doesn't hurt and more often than not helps in discipleship.

To me a christian is someone who believes in, loves and acknowleges the truth of God, and lives for God to the best of their ablility. However from experience I know, that many christians are more concerned with the show aspect of it, who was at church, who said what, who gave what, who brought who. Just believe and accept, and love Him and you can consider yourself christian!

i understand the place you're coming from, and that i do agree that a number of those firms have incorrect reasons, even devil has entered the church, it is why you would be able to desire to be very careful, you will locate someone's perception via the end result that they undergo, if a church or organsiation bears undesirable fruit, then you definately understand its no longer the holy spirit at paintings, tis devil. i'm very fortunate to have discovered a small team,in basic terms 8 human beings, and its very extreme approximately gods be conscious and love i've got self belief like I even have grown plenty with the aid of fact starting to be a member of,so dont provide up, i'd say you attempt n look for others who're extreme interior the religion, you dont would desire to bypass to a "church" construction to worhsip, we meet at a house and worship there. yet do remember the bible does point out that as followers we would desire to continually meet one yet another and fellowship with one yet another so as that we are able to motivate one yet another interior the religion, so unquestionably retaining jesus and your faith to your self wont have too many reward. The bible talks with reference to the church, no longer as an actualy construction yet all his followers make up the church, all of us have distinctive presents to furnish in our ministry, so if somebody has a modern-day of understanding and knowedge he can help different followers with understanding, if somebody has the present of serving, they'd serve different brothers interior the religion, so which you spot, jesus is calling us to come again at the same time and use our giftings to help one yet another build a solid church. so lower back, if your gonna shop your faith to your self then you definately arent particularly helping others are you. its no stable for us to get fattened up on gods be conscious and then shop it ourselves. so i beg you to wish to god to tutor you the way, which you're thirsty to fulfill with others who're extreme and not in basic terms money takers. god will tutor you, he confirmed us, our final church lacked love, and that i couldnt strengthen in any respect, yet god has shown us.
