I think overeating happens when you are not paying attention to your portions. It is especially easy to overeat when you have to eat at restaurants where you cannot decide how much butter or salt to use. Willpower is a two part compromise with your body and your environment. You can only keep it if you restrict yourself from certain behaviors outside of the house. But dieting should also be exchanged with exercise in such a way that one feels like a gift to the other.

willpower is what keeps you away from candy bars when you realllllllllllly want one, but you are diabetic and know better, for diabetics it can be a matter of life or death .
