He is always telling me that he isn't cheating on his G/F if he is wearing a condom...he says something to the effect that he is only cheating himself...is my buddy a goof?

He's cheating. He's cheating not only himself for being susceptible to getting a girl pregnant or getting STDs or whatnot, but also losing someone who really might care about him, unlike those who he goes to bed with. She is losing her "boyfriend" since he isn't really being a real good one, when she may deserve better. Yes, he is a goof, and an idiot.

your "buddy" is an ***! if he has himself convinced that infidelity and being unfaithful center around the concept of "safe sex", then this is a person who does not even deserve the loyalty of another person's committment and devotion (meaning his mate or girlfriend. she's the one i feel sorry for). suggest how he would see things if the shoes (or condom), so to speak, were on the other foot. would he support the issue of his girlfriend having sex with another man if that other man was wearing a condom? does this confirm his opinion that she is in return genuinely not cheating on him?
and take it from me, this is a person that you could do without in your life. if he has this little respect and care for his own girlfriend and/or his own self dignity and character, he is certainly not going to give a rat's hoot about your feelings or concern when (and it will) it comes down to betraying the respect and loyalty that you are expecting him to honor and uphold as your friend, without any concern or conscious to it; especially compounding the dischonor by trying to justify it with some ridiculous and juvenile line of bull sh..t and expecting you to believe and buy it. ...........like you are just an idiot with no intelligence or logical reasoning abilities of your own............
life is short. don't waste time with anything or anyone not worthy of trading positive and healthy minutes and energy on. there are alot better entities to use them up on!

P.S.. oh, yeah, do that poor girl a favor. ........ and let her know what he's about. the worst that can happen is that you lose him as a "friend?" please, let him do you the favor if he chooses not to ever speak to you again!

HES WRONG ,condoms cant prevent pregnancy and diseases and certainly dont claim to protect you against cheating on your G/F how juvenile can your friend possibly be?HES A GOOF.
