first let me ask you, do you really want the jobs that the mexicans are doing, like working in a chicken processing faculity? will you work all day in the hot sun on construction, digging ditches etc,?I guarentee the ans to those questions are a resounding no,
so lets see if we can locate the real problem, could it be that under N,A,F,T,A, our factories have moved to other countries to escape the ridiculious union demands? where a man earning $16 per hour can come in drunk or doped up or just plain won't do his job , yet the company can't fire him , I heard a man say one day that they paid him $26 per hour to show up if they wanted him to work they would haft to pay hm more?????what about these companys who out source jobs to other countries , I am talking about good paying jobs , that Americans would do, no one seems to mind this why?if the American co, who have left the U,S, in the last 5 years were still here every one would have a job including the mexicans legal or illegal,

They sure do, but only the ones that MOST (not all) of us are too fat, lazy, or otherwise unwilling or unable to do given the same conditions that they work under. I'm sure that there probably are a small handfull of Americans who would do the work that Mexicans do if they were ridiculously overpaid, but only then, because people here want to be rich but they aren't necessarily willing to work hard for their money, at least not in the sese of physical labor, especially when being paid under the minimum wage.

Well, my brother-in-law used to work in construction, a job that had very good pay and a lot of prestige. He had a nice house and was able to support his stay at home wife and child. Competition for construction jobs was very heated and there was a lot of pride in having a construction job. This was true only 25 to 35 years ago too.
Since so many illegals have come in this country construction pay has dropped out of sight. Mexicans will work in construction for a fraction of the former pay. American construction workers have been put out of their jobs except for the workers, especially foremen, who can speak Spanish.
The problem of outsourcing is much more complicated then you presume. I'm sure that some companies do it because they are trying to increase profits for themselves. Other, however, do it because they can no longer pay the wages that American's get so it's outsource or die.
Yes, there are some jobs such as field work that Mexicans will take and many Americans won't. Who, though, was doing this work before the illegals arrived? I can only presume that it was Americans.
If we need foreign workers to do work that enough citizens won't take then why can't we have a guest worker program so they can come here, earn money for their families and the go home?
Do you realize that there are all kinds of government programs that are ONLY available to illegals? This is insane!! Why do American taxpayers have to subsidize people that shouldn't be here in the first place. Why are we kicking native born citizens off welfare and establishing an entirely new welfare receiving class of non native born people?

First the answer of workers wanting the jobs in the outside conditions.
the answer is yes. there are many American workers who would gladly take this job. I live in AZ so don't even go with the weak weather aspects. Also the workers who are in line for these jobs here in AZ are usually younger American men and women who strive to work in the mining industries. That is basically what the job consists of. The hotter the better.
Also for the idea that companies are relocating across the borders on the ideas of strict union demands is very slim. I have been to several companies that have relocated out of the united states. They are now in Canada, one company being Kraft. They have relocated many of their northern facilities because they have simply found in cheaper to run and turn over profits at a faster rate.
Not everyone supports the Union.
The wages are true. Many people think that they are owed that high pay. For some reason spending 4-6 years in college will do that to a person.

First of all, your friend is a POOR excuse for an employee...union or non-union.
Secondly, there is NO job in America that the "American man won't do"....It is simply and sadly mistaken. You see, these jobs that are classified as such are usually low-paying jobs that the "American man" CAN NOT AFFORD to do because the American man usually has a wife and child(ren) and is on a limited income. The Mexicans that I've seen that do these low-wage jobs often co-habitate with about ten or fifteen other Mexicans in a one- or two-bedroom apartment and split the rent evenly. They can live like rats or sardines and pay about $20/month rent each. The American man with only one paycheck coming in to support his wife and family refuses to lower his standards of living to the level of Third-world countries.

I work in a grocery store union (UFCW) that only pays minimum wage and still takes union dues I also worked at a meat processing plant which only paid 7 dollars an hour and still took union dues so I think you can take the union factor out I don't think they do most real mexicans would live in mexico if it weren't a third world nation

corp.took jobs from americans and if americans really wanted to work then "the mexicans"wouldn't be filling the jobs that they say they are stealing from them.
but, unions are not to blame for companies leaving, our government is.not only would a balanced wage scale across the country make sense,it would also level costs of everyday life.stop and figure if cost was controlled and wages were leveled?why give to some and leave others out?

Yes! We have been going up to you, pushing you out of the way, and taking over your jobs! You are so ignorant! If the U.S. did not need extra hands to make the economy grow then they wouldn't hire immigrants. How many jobs and acres can your body occupy? Moron! If you only used logical thinking!!

The hilarious double standard "Mexicans are lazy, and too stupid/can't be bothered to learn English" and "Mexicans are taking all our jobs". So, you're saying that you lost your job to a lazy person who doesn't speak English, how bad at your job were you?
